Just sent donation via Paypal. I am still having issues with youtube. It will go to youtube and show thumnails. But when I click on them it says youtube not available, or an edge or WiFi conection is requied fro youtube.
I have a t-mobile edge setting applied and can browse the internet.
Any help is greatly appreciated and will generate another donation ;o)

youst wanna write my opinion about all the chats going around in the net.
for me as an unprofessionall(reg.iphones) i was and now see all the stupid discussions like for example
"pwned is the ultimate hack and nobody will talk about ziphone anymore" or like "in a few month everyone forgott that ziphone even existed", bla bla bla.
but as an completly outstanding person i can say it will NOT be like that.
of course it could go on like that,
that everyone in the future will use pwned which possibly will be better,easier, nicer or whatever.
to be honest even i will possibly don't use ziphone anymore.
but nobody can change the past !
you were the fuc... first who did it ! and thats a fact ! no one ever
will forget that ziphone get iphones running allready month ago.
and nobody else was able to did it as fast as you did.of course half year later there will come out more and more other alternatives.
but you are the godfather of the iphone hack and will ever be.
or did anyone forgott elvis,james brown,bob marley a.s.o ? no ! and why ? because,
even if there where better singers making better music later on,
they where the lads who born their styles and brang it to the world !

I had no problem updating to 2.0 then downgrading to 1.1.4 while maintaining my baseband firmware of 4.05.01_G. The phone is still able to aquire and maintain signal without any problems at all. I do have a legit version of 2.0 seeded to my UDID so I am not sure if that makes the difference or not. Anyone have any ideas?

HOW TO REPAIR YOUR IPHONE USING ZIPHONE AFTER MISSING UP WITH LEAKED 1.2 FW Beta.

Okay people this is one by one step on how to recover and restore your iphone completely to 1.1.4 without Itunes crashing.

The known issue is that after upgrading to the leaked 1.2 FW beta you are not able to downgrade the new 4.05.01_G baseband which prevent you from unlocking and makes itunes crash at the end of restore process.

So how did I do it:
Lets consider you are now stuck with 1.2FW no being able to do anything.

1- You should first enter Recovery mode and restore with Itunes to 1.1.4. This will fail at the end and leave you phone on recovery mode.

2- Don't worry now your phone is running on 1.1.4 but still has 4.05.01_G baseband. Keep going launch Ziphone and unlock, activate, jailbreak your phone.

3- Your Iphone will reboot normally but you want be able to make or receive any call which the known issue.

4- Activate your Wifi and browse install.app. Look in the IClarified directory and install the 1.2 Baseband eraser (you might need to refresh sources if u don't see this package) but also remember to have your auto-lock state on NEVER to prevent iphone going to sleep when running baseband eraser.

5- Run the tool and wait. When finished go check the about section your baseband version number has now disappeared :)

6- Put your Iphone on DFU mode using Ziphone and restore using Itunes a second time. This restoration process will last much longer and this good news because the 04.04.05_G is also being restored. Notice something new also ? Itunes didn't crash this time :)

7- Launch Ziphone and unlock just as usual.

WOW it is working again!!!

Some little update..

Okay somehow I have been able to downgrade and restore to 1.1.4 FW but the Iphone cannot make/receive calls anymore.

Steps:

1- Refurbish
2- Restore 1.1.4 (Get an error in itunes at the end and iphone did not reboot in normal mode)
3- Went ahead and unlocked with Ziphone.

The result is Iphone was running again but it could not acquire any network.

The Iphone kept the new baseband 4.05.01_G.

Any idea of what has happen?

Little help Zibri please !!

I put my hand on the infamous 1.2.0 (2.0) FW. Well I wanted to try this piece of soft so I went ahead and restore it to my Iphone.

Everything went right until I tried to unlock it. After using Iphone I end up in a permanent boot loop. I can't downgrade anymore even using DFU mode and refurbish function.

I can only restore the 2.0 FW but can't use it.

Please help.
